Erving Reminds Property Owners of October 1 Tax Payment Deadline

ERVING, Mass. — The Town of Erving is reminding property owners that real estate and personal property tax payments are due on Thursday, October 1, and encourages residents to submit payments on or before the deadline to avoid late fees and interest.

According to the Town’s Tax Collector’s Office, the October payment represents one of the regularly scheduled quarterly tax installments that help fund essential municipal services, including public safety, road maintenance, schools, and other town operations. Property owners who have not received a tax bill are encouraged to contact the Tax Collector’s Office as soon as possible to verify their mailing information and payment status.

Residents have several payment options available, including online payment services, mailing a check, or paying in person during regular Town Hall business hours. Officials recommend allowing extra time for mailed payments to ensure they arrive before the due date.

Town officials also remind residents that keeping property tax payments current helps avoid additional penalties and ensures the continued funding of the municipal services that residents rely on throughout the year.

For additional information about payment methods, office hours, or tax accounts, residents may contact the Erving Tax Collector’s Office or visit the Town of Erving’s official website.
